HOW TO USE

To treat fungus gnats, apply Fungus Gnat Death Drops as a drench to sufficiently wet the surface of the growth medium of ornamental plants, vegetables, or herbs.

Use 8-16 fl. oz of Natural Fungus Gnat Death Drops/100 gal of water (0.5-1tsp of Natural Fungus Gnat Death Drops/gal of water)

Where infestations (adults, eggs, pupae, and larvae) are present, reapply regularly. Routine use of lower rates will keep populations to a minimum.

What are Fungus Gnat Death Drops?

Death Drops are a microbial insecticide that uses Bacillus thuingiensis subspecies israelensis (Bti) to target and control fungus gnat larvae in soil and potting mix.

How do they work?

The active ingredient (Bti) produces proteins that are toxic to fungus gnat larvae when ingested. When applied to soil, it helps interrupt the gnat lifecycle before they mature into flying adults.

Can I use this on my indoor plants?

Yes! Death Drops are labeled for use on ornamentals (houseplants!), herbs, and vegetables grown indoors, in greenhouses, or in nursery settings.

Will this kill adult gnats?

No. This product is designed to target fungus gnat larvae. For best results pair with Killer Smiles to catch flying adults.

Can I mix Death Drops with other Happy Happy Houseplant Products?

Yes! Death Drops can be used in the same watering can as our other products like Plant Food, Soil Refresh, and Hydration Renew. Just follow each product's dosage.

How long does it take to work?

Death Drops begin working at the laval stage, which means you may start to see fewer adult gnats flying around within 4-7 days after application. Because adult gnats already flying wont be affected, it's normal to continue seeing them for a short time while the larvae are being controlled in the soil. Pair with Killer Smiles to catch the adults!

How often should I apply it?

For active infestations reapply weekly or when you are regularly watering. For prevention or ongoing control use regularly as part of your watering routine.

Is it safe to use around pets or kids?

Bti has been extensively studied and is considered safe when used as directed. Always follow the safety precautions on the label, and store out of reach of children.
